Candyrat Guitar Night - Sunday March 8th - Trinity House Theatre

Dear Friends of MFGS

MFGS is honored to present the 2020 Spring Series of concerts! We lucked out when Candyrat called and Trinity House opened up on a Sunday to host these remarkable guitarists.  It is rewarding (and part of our non profit mission) to be able to bring in these amazing guitarists who will be in the Detroit area for the first time!!

Sunday March 8th @ Trinity House Theatre

Alexandre Misko is 21 and hails from Russia; those are probably 2 good reasons why he shouldn't have won the 2018 TakamineAcoustic Guitarist of the Year Award  (but he did!).

"Alexandr Misko is the future of acoustic guitar"    Jon Gomm

Peter Ciluzzi hails from the east coast and he started playing the guitar at age 12  and discovered the solo guitar work of Michael Hedges, Leo Kottke, and Pierre Bensusan. From then on he delved into Pat Metheny & Keith Jarrett.

Acoustic Guitar Magazine calls his music "transcendent".

Tickets are $25 and now available online

This is a Sunday show that starts at 7pm...doors at 6:30

Trinity House Theatre is located at 38840 Six Mile Rd in Livonia

One of the most influential and innovative guitarists of the past quarter century, Preston Reed invented integrated percussive guitar playing in the late 1980's, revolutionising the way the acoustic guitar is played and inspiring generations of musicians around the world ever since. Employing multi-voiced grooves, polyrhythmic percussion and story-telling compositions, Reed's visionary approach fully exploits the breathtaking orchestral potential of the acoustic guitar.
