 We just wanted to remind you of the great guitar performances/workshops going on.

Interlochen Fingerstyle Guitar Workshops

Featuring MFGS friends  Laurence Juber and , Billy McLaughlin along with  Matthew Schroeder, Peter Roller and Thomas Clippert


Next up is

The Guitar Festival event of this summer!!/groups/cgfestival/

Several friends of MFGS attended this great festival last year and you can’t help but notice the International Star Studded Cast of Guitarists this year. Also there is the  2012 Canadian Guitar Festival Competitions and 

Ferndale’s own Nick J. Kelly will be performing in the competion!!!

If you are going to the Canadian Festival you can drive (look to ride share on our Michigan Fingerstyle's facebook page  or the Canadian Festival Facebook page

Via Rail in Canada is another way to go. Via Rail take you there but it is a holiday weekend and you should book early.

Candyrat Records Canadian Tour

 Maneli Jamal, Trevor Gordon Hall and Owen Larkins.

This is a great opportunity to see some of Candyrat’s best. Maneli is from Toronto, Trevor is from the States and Owen is from Australia. This will be a great show. More information to come.

In 2009, Phog won the much-publicized CBC Radio 3 Searchlight Contest for Best Live Music Venue in Canada. Phog Lounge is located at 157 University Avenue West in Windsor about 2 blocks west of the tunnel.

The Candyrat Tour will be performing in Montreal, Toronto and a dozen or so other stops in Canada, even way out to PEI eh?

   We sent out a message a few months ago about Huber Breese getting ripped off of some guitars.  Here is another post taken off of Paul Murphy's BlueFish Music Facebook page. Please keep an eye out for this stuff.  We all know that it takes a long while to find the right mix of an instrument and equipment.  Post this around and give this guy a hand.  Call Blue Fish if you hear anything  -   (734) 927-0675Tony Muggs equipment was stolen last night .
